Kindergarten Card Party! (Main)
Party like you just got your first library card! Kindergartners and their grown-ups are invited to a special party! Drop in between 5:30 and 6:30pm to enjoy pizza, create a collaborative mural, and learn about all the fun things you can do with your new library card! Kindergartners, along with their families and friends, are welcome to attend.
Susan Choi presents: Flashlight (Main)
Harvard Book Store and the Cambridge Public Library welcome Susan Choi—author of the National Book Award-winning novel Trust Exercise—for a discussion of her new book Flashlight, a novel tracing a father’s disappearance across time, nations, and memory. She will be joined in conversation by Gish Jen—acclaimed author of Thank You, Mr. Nixon and The Resisters. Registration is required.
Back to School Craft: Paper Camera Roll (Main)
Celebrate the end of summer and get ready to go back to school with us at this drop-in craft hour! Make and color a paper camera and some snapshots to illustrate all your best summer memories to share with your school-friends. All materials are provided. Recommended for children ages 5 - 8. Registration is not required for this event.
Being with Trees Creatively: Watercolor! (Main)
Combine your love for art and Spring, here at the Library! This art class will be a hybrid of indoor and outdoor time. Allowing you to get up close with trees and take artistic observations of your surroundings. All supplies will be provided but please bring any protective gear (hats, sunscreen, water) in the event of hot weather.

Kids' Books for Everyone (O'Neill)
People of all ages who enjoy children's books can read and discuss together. Food will be provided. This month we will be reading and discussing Magnolia Wu Unfolds it All by Chanel Miller. Please pick up a copy of the book beforehand at the O'Neill Branch Library.
