Half Crown-Marsh NCD Public Meeting
Public Hearing of the Half Crown-Marsh Neighborhood Conservation District Commission in order to review applications to alter designated properties and other matters under the provisions of Chapter 2.78 of the Code of the City of Cambridge and the order establishing the district. The Commission has a monthly meeting calendar, though meetings may be cancelled if no applications are received.
River Street Reconstruction Project
Welcome to the River Street Construction Webpage! This is the place to find current information and updates related to construction of the River Street Infrastructure and Streetscape Project.
The project includes utility and surface reconstruction of the following streets and public spaces:
• River Street from Memorial Drive to Massachusetts Avenue
• Carl Barron Plaza (the major public space at the intersection of River Street/Western Ave/Mass Ave in Central Square)
• The MBTA bus stops and busway at Magazine/Green/River Street adjacent to Carl Barron Plaza
• Pleasant Street and Tubman Square between Pleasant Place and River Street
• Green Street between Magazine and Pearl Street
• Magazine Street between Franklin and Green Street
• Blackstone Street
In addition, the project includes the following nearby neighborhood streets which are due for reconstruction under the City's Five Year Sidewalk and Street Reconstruction Plan
• Fairmont Avenue / Fairmont Street / Rockwell Street / Laurel Street / Kelly Road

He will be joined in conversation by Andre Dubus III—author of Such Kindness and eight other books, including the bestsellers Townie and House of Sand and Fog. Registration is required.
John Cassidy presents: Capitalism and Its Critics (Main)

Kids learn all about Arthropods, the most diverse group of animal life on the planet, during this exciting show-and-tell-and-touch program! Learn, see, hear, touch, and even smell the incredible adaptations these creatures have that help them survive in the wild world.
Recommended for children ages 3 and up and their caregivers. No registration is required.
Budgeting with Google Sheets (Main)
Learn how to use Google Sheets (Google's version of Excel) to create a budget! You will learn how to use Google Sheets budgeting templates and enter data in a friendly learning environment. A Gmail account is required for this class - please remember your password!

Life Goes On: Happy 100 Years James Merrill (Main)
The event will feature three accomplished Boston-area poets reading from a selection of some of James Merrill’s best poetry, including passages from the celebrated epic trilogy The Changing Light at Sandover as well as some of his widely appreciated narrative poems including “The Broken Home,” “The Mad Scene,” “Voices from the Other World,” “The Victor Dog,” “Lost in Translation,” and “After the Fire.”
