City of Cambridge Closures and Service Information for Independence Day Holiday on Thursday, July 4
Curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost, and yard waste will be one day behind schedule for the remainder of that week. Street cleaning will also be suspended on the holiday and the makeup street cleaning day will be Wednesday, July 10 for streets that would normally have been swept on the first Thursday of the month.
Stay at Home Order
On March 31, Governor Baker extended the stay-at-home advisory and non-essential business closure that was set to expire on April 7 until May 4, the same date that schools are to remain closed until. The 10-person limit on gatherings in the state has been extended as well, following a similar extension by the federal government.

With the dry weather for the past 3+ weeks and the projections for the next 10 days continuing to show minimal to no rain, please help our Cambridge street trees thrive and give them a drink! Street trees require lots of water to establish themselves and thrive. Our trees need your help to get enough water.
