It's creepy crawly week at the Library! Families with elementary school-age children join us for hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Math. Adults and children will learn and play together! In March we will be joined by author and illustrator Lindsey Leigh to learn about drawing and cartooning animals!

Get creative after school! Learn to fold a fortune teller from a paper square. Choose a sheet with hidden messages ready for you to discover, or create your own unique messages before folding. Recommended for children ages 6-12 and their caregivers.

"La Musica De La Chirimia" is a bilingual retelling of a Guatemalan folktale. It revolves around the chirimia, a musical instrument, and the importance of its sound. 

Join us for the 3rd Annual Spelling Bee. The spelling bee aims to enhance the spelling and vocabulary skills of contestants while promoting reading, writing, and appreciation for the power of words. Community members are invited to attend the finals to provide support and cheer on contestants. Cosponsored by the Fletcher Maynard Academy, My Brother's Keeper Cambridge, Sisters with a Dream, and Cambridge Public Library.
