Join us for a guided 30-minute Tactile Talk featuring artist Randal Thurston’s transformation of a once-dark tunnel into a welcoming passageway with painted steel silhouettes and textured tilework. We will meet at the corner of Yerxa Road and Pemberton Street. This event is part of our Time Out for Public Art series in collaboration with Cambridge Arts. In September, these will be Tactile Talks, shorter visits perfect for all ages and abilities. Registration is required.

Join us at the Main Library to celebrate your favorite fandoms! We're throwing a Minecraft party, where you can make Minecraft themed crafts, get snacks, and play Minecraft trivia! We're getting ready to go back to school with some DIY bag charms! Join us at the Main Library in the Curious George Room on Saturday, September 13th to make your own cool charm to attach to your backpack or tote. All materials are provided. The annual Cambridge Arts Open Studios will take place all across Cambridge on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 21 and 22, 2024, from noon to 6 p.m. each day. The citywide event celebrates all the creativity that is Cambridge. Shop for paintings, prints, clothing, ceramics, and all sorts of locally-made creations when you visit artists' studios and in group exhibitions in Common Venues throughout the city.
