Disability Friendly Vaccine Clinics October 19 and November 16
These clinics will have extra staff on hand to provide skilled support to both children and adults with disabilities and/or sensory support needs. Clinics will offer flu and COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 6 months and up, as well as adult vaccines and boosters. People with and without disabilities can get vaccinated at these clinics.
Broadway Park AHO Community Meeting
JAS held an initial community meeting on January 14th, 2025 to introduce themselves and the project to the community. They are holding another community meeting on July 24th at 6 p.m. at 243 Broadway, Cambridge and via Zoom to present updated designs and to collect feedback. Carl Barron Achievement Awards
The Cambridge Department of Public Works honored three DPW employees with the Ruth and Carl F. Barron Family Achievement Award on March 6, 2025. The Ruth and Carl F. Barron Family Achievement Award, established in 1992, is presented in recognition of outstanding productivity, distinguished performance and service to the City of Cambridge and Department of Public Works.

COVID-19 Testing Available Three Days per Week in August
As of August 2, the City of Cambridge will offer free COVID-19 testing three days per week, on Sundays from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at 50 Church Street, Mondays from 4:00-8:00 p.m. inside the Cambridgeside Mall, and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. inside the CambridgeSide Mall. No appointment is needed.

Make an in-person or virtual appointment with a Career Counselor in the Office of Workforce Development to review your resume and get feedback on how to strengthen it. City of Cambridge Events Regarding Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting of Sayed Faisal
Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui and City Manager Yi-An Huang today announced that the City of Cambridge will host a community meeting on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 6-8 p.m., at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School, 102 Putnam Avenue to discuss the fatal officer-involved shooting of Sayed Faisal that occurred on January 4, 2023.
Unveiling of Native Spaces - Indigenous Street Signs Project
The City of Cambridge and members of the local Massachusett tribe will unveil newly installed street signs in East Cambridge that will be presented in both the Massachusett and English languages. The special event will take place on Friday, November 29 at 2 p.m. at the intersection of Third Street and Binney Street in East Cambridge (Parcel 6).

Party like you just got your first library card! Kindergartners and their grown-ups are invited to a special party! Drop in between 5:30 and 6:30pm to enjoy pizza, create a collaborative mural, and learn about all the fun things you can do with your new library card!
