The City provides employees with access to a Deferred Compensation Plan which allows employees to invest a portion of their wages through payroll deduction on a tax deferred basis in a variety of investment vehicles such as stock and bond mutual funds, guaranteed accumulation accounts, and money market funds.

The agreement is intended to increase public contracting opportunities for minority-owned (MBEs), veteran-owned (VBEs), women-owned (WBEs), and other historically disadvantaged business enterprises.

Chapter 30B establishes procedures to follow for most agreements for acquisitions of supplies and services, dispositions of surplus supplies, and real property acquisitions and dispositions by local governmental bodies. The MBTA Income-Eligible Reduced Fare Program offers discounted MBTA passes to eligible Cambridge residents between the ages of 18-64 who are enrolled in an approved state assistance program. Applicants need to provide a photo ID and proof of enrollment in a state assistance program.

Let’s make public meetings more accessible to deaf and hard of hearing people! This proposal will fund portable screens and staffing for live transcriptions of public meetings in city-owned buildings.

In November, the Cambridge Geographic Systems (GIS) Department unveiled AxisGIS, a powerful new interactive viewer designed to make this data more accessible and user-friendly.
