Join us at the Valente Branch to write your own secret messages with invisibe ink! The library will provide all required materials. This program is recommended for ages children ages 5 and up, and their guardians.

FY20 City Manager's Submitted Budget
Cambridge City Manager Louis A. DePasquale submitted his proposed Operating and Capital Budgets for Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20), as well as the proposed FY20-23 Operating and Capital Plans, to the Cambridge City Council on April 22, 2019.
Bike Parking and Bike Repair Stations
Biking infrastructure doesn’t end with bike lanes. This project will construct a bike shelter with 20 covered spaces. Install 50 new bike racks with a capacity for 100 bikes and install 10 new bike repair stations.
Protect the Health and Safety of our Firefighters
This proposal will purchase and install six gear drying units to shorten wait time for clean gear ($51,000), and eleven sets of wireless headsets to protect hearing and improve communication ($55,000). Let’s protect those who protect us.
Meditation Mondays (Central Square)
Start your week off right with some meditation at the Central Square Library. Led by the Library Social Worker, Brett Dixon, we combine gentle breathwork, visualization practice and mindful meditation, for a relaxing and recharging experience.
