This presentation incorporates 4-5 live birds of prey that all native to New England. The program is designed to explain predation, the birds' place at the top of the food web, their different hunting adaptations and their status in a rapidly changing world. Because many birds of prey are declining in number, this presentation also features one or more of the endangered raptors that Wingmasters cares for, and explains why these species face an uncertain future. Recommended for children ages 6 and up and their caregivers. This program can accommodate 75 people. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly. Unclaimed seats will be offered to someone waiting. We appreciate your patience and understanding. The Cambridge Youth Boxing and Fitness Program is a collaboration between the Cambridge Police Department Family and Social Justice Section and the Cambridge YMCA. It is a gender inclusive, non-contact, fitness-based boxing program for Cambridge youth in grades 6-12.

This proposal will install new signs and maps at Danehy Park. Existing signs are broken, outdated, or missing making it difficult to navigate the 50-acre park. New signs will make Danehy inviting and easy to navigate for all visitors.

The City of Cambridge is offering COVID-19 testing for residents seven days a week at expanded locations, as part of a strategic initiative to coordinate testing and COVID-19 vaccine distribution. The initiative is led by the City's newly established Cambridge Pandemic Collaborative.

The City of Cambridge has been a climate leader for many years and worked closely with the City Council, climate activists and experts, business and institutional leaders, and residents to chart a path forward. Julie Wormser will bring extensive local, regional and national experience.

The City of Cambridge announced that all City-sponsored community events, events permitted for the use of City parks, or other City-sponsored public gatherings will be cancelled through October 26, 2020, or postponed to a later date. All prior approvals for events or gatherings are revoked. The City Manager’s Office is collaborating with the City’s COVID-19 Expert Advisory Panel, the Commissioner of Public Health, and the Cambridge Public Health Department to evaluate and determine what Halloween activities will be allowed in the City. Further guidance on Halloween activities in the City to be announced the week of October 12.

The City of Cambridge announced that it will further expand COVID-19 testing for Cambridge residents via a new mobile testing pilot program that will initially be launched in The Port neighborhood and in all senior housing buildings overseen by the Cambridge Housing Authority.
