Linear Park, located in North Cambridge between Alewife Station and the Cambridge-Somerville city line, is a popular open space corridor for commuting and recreation. Linear Park between the Russell Field Fieldhouse and the Cambridge-Somerville city line are scheduled for reconstruction beginning in September 2025. Reconstruction of Main Street in Kendall Square

Franklin Street, between Pleasant Street and Landsdowne Street, is scheduled for street and sidewalk reconstruction in 2018.

Huron Ave, between Concord Ave. and Raymond St., is scheduled for upcoming street and sidewalk reconstruction as part of the City’s 5 Year Plan.

Sixth Street between Cambridge Street and Bent Street is currently scheduled for roadway work in the summer of 2018 as part of the City's 5 Year Street & Sidewalk Plan.

Chestnut Street from Sydney St. to Pleasant St. is scheduled for reconstruction in 2023 as part of the City's Five Year Plan for Sidewalk and Street Reconstruction.
