For people looking to relocate, a great place to live is more than the resources offered—a strong sense of community is among the top considerations. Cambridge officials are taking note and investing in strengthening their residents’ bonds.

Effective Oct. 1, 2016, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts prohibits discrimination based on gender identity in places of Public Accommodation. A place of public accommodation as defined in M.G.L.c. 272 92A includes any place open to and serving the public. This training details how businesses can comply with the state’s gender identity non-discrimination law in places of public accommodation. In addition, the training covers best practices for maintaining inclusive environments regardless of one’s gender identity.
