Celebrate Women's History Month with intersectional stories, activities and crafts! No registration required.

Alpacas from the Harvard Alpaca Ranch will be visiting the library for an educational program and meet and greet. Join us to learn more about alpacas and take some time to say hello! This event is intended for school-age children. No registration required. Funding for Summer Reading has been generously provided by the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Library Foundation and Friends of the Cambridge Public Library.

Is your phone or tablet low on storage or running slowly? Join us for a free, online class where you’ll learn easy ways to clear space, organize your apps, and improve your phone’s performance. Are you suffering from chronic information overload? Feeling overwhelmed by too much technology in your life? Join us for an evening of old school board gaming! Relax and recharge your internal battery with one of our classic board games or bring your own personal fave. Gaming: Unplugged takes place on the first Monday of every month from 6:00 -- 7:30 PM in the Rossi Room. Be there or be square! For the month of April, Adult Gaming: Unplugged will be held on Monday, April 9th, 2026. It will return to its first Monday of the month schedule on May 4th (Star Wars Day!) 2026.

Join us for stories inside followed by an outdoor activity! For children of all ages and their grown-ups.

Need an accessory for a costume? Decorate a mosaic mask to disguise yourself as a jungle animal. Recommended for children ages 4-10 with a caregiver.

Kids in 6th, 7th and 8th grade can come to the Library to make light-up crafts out of paper, fabric and LED lights. Snacks provided. No registration necessary.

The Saturday, May 24 event has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience; please register and join us on June 14. Join us for an hour of songs, stories, and social meet-up in Mandarin Chinese with JingJing and Chelsea, two local mothers and educators. This fun and interactive session brings families together in a warm, welcoming environment. This event is for children and their caregivers. In the first half, listen to engaging stories and sing lively songs. In the second half, children will do an activity, and everyone will have an opportunity to socialize.

We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for our monthly evening story time event. This program will run for 20-25 minutes, with songs, stories and rhymes. No registration is required.
