Would you like to make your own vinyl signs, stickers, or images to transfer to T-shirts and other textiles? In this workshop, you can learn how to use our Roland Camm-1 GS-24 vinyl cutter. You can then design a sticker and cut it with our vinyl cutter! Registration is required. You must complete Hive Safety Training before registering for this workshop. Please arrive on time. Bilingual Story Telling: The Copihue Flower Legend (for Older Adults)
The Copihue is the Chilean national flower and because it's an endangered species, its protected from being cut or sold. There is a legend about the origin of this flower that comes from the Mapuche.
City Offices Closed for Juneteenth Holiday on Wednesday, June 19
Curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost, and yard waste will be one day behind schedule for the remainder of the week. Street cleaning that normally would have occurred on Wednesday, June 19, was previously swept on May 30.
Climate Action Book Club (Collins)
Join the Collins Branch Library in collaboration with the Cambridge Climate Leaders Initiative for a monthly discussion of a climate-related topic. Each month the group will discuss a book on the topic at hand then hear about a related local program or initiative and how you can take action.
