Come get creative at Collins! Join your neighbors at this casual, drop-in afternoon craft session. This month, celebrate winter by making snowflakes. We'll provide supplies and instructions to cut traditional snowflakes and advanced 3-D versions using multiple sheets of paper. This month's activity is recommended for people of all ages.

Shayla Tate of M.U.D.D. Flower Yoga leads us through a 60-minute outdoor evening flow. Registration is preferred but not required. The Library will not provide any materials - please bring your own mat and whatever items are in your practice. In case of inclement weather, the event will take place in the Community Room.

Join herbalist Mo Katz-Christy to get deeply acquainted with St. John's Wort! We’ll spend time getting to know this medicinal plant through drawing, taste, science, and stories of herbalists’ experience. Bring your journal and leave with an in-depth account of botany, history, clinical use, and safety. Registration is required.

Youth ages 10-16 are welcome to join for four sessions of cooperative role-play and storytelling as we build out skills playing the table-top game DnD. The first session will include a character-building introduction followed by play continued into the next four sessions. No prior DnD experience is required, and experienced players are also welcome to join. Registration is attached to the first DnD session, 12/2. Kids in 6th, 7th and 8th grade can come to the Library to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Twilight series! We will watch highlights from the movies, make fan art and celebrate sparkly vampires. Snacks provided. No registration necessary.

Come spend the afternoon getting deeply acquainted with May's Herb of the Month - the plantain! We’ll spend time getting to know the plant through drawing, taste, science, and stories of herbalists’ experience. Bring your journal and leave with an in-depth account of botany, history, use, safety issues, preparation and dosage, and much much more. The group will meet at the Collins Library (64 Aberdeen Ave) and walk to Fresh Pond together. This program is part of a series hosted around the area with guest herbalist, Mo Katz-Christy. Come each month to build your materia medica or just once to meet a new plant friend!
