The City has significantly increased the number of trees it plants annually. The City collects and recycles more than 9,000 tons of materials annually. By stopping food waste from going to a landfill, we prevent greenhouse gas emissions.

Curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost, and yard waste will be suspended on the holiday and will be one day behind for the remainder of the week. There will be no street cleaning on the Patriots Day holiday. Streets that would normally be cleaned on April 17 will instead be cleaned on April 12.
