COVID-19 Update to the Community
As COVID-19 cases rise across the Commonwealth and in Cambridge, the City wants to update you on all of the strategies and mitigations that we have put into place to keep us all safe.
Valente Branch Book Group (Valente)
Join the Valente Branch for their new book group! This group will meet monthly to discuss a mix of fiction and nonfiction books. The June selection will be The Skin and Its Girl by Sarah Cypher.
How to get the print book: Copies of the book are available at the Valente Branch Library.
How to get the e-book and digital audiobook: This month’s book is available as an e-book and digital audiobook through https://minuteman.overdrive.com/.
No registration is required.
CANCELED - Preschool Story Time (Main)
We invite children and their caregivers for 20-25 minutes of stories and songs. Recommended for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers.
This program can accommodate 45 people. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly. Unclaimed seats will be offered to someone waiting. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please call 617-349-4038 for more information.

Pride Concert with the Grumpytime Club
Cambridge Main Library celebrates pride with the Grumpytime Club! The Grumpytime Club’s original music for children and their caregivers is creative, positive, thoughtful, beautifully crafted, and catchy as cake! Led by award-winning singer songwriter Carrie Ferguson, the Grumpytime Club creates live shows that are often jubilant sing-along dance parties, highlighting themes of inclusivity, social justice, Earth stewardship and LGBTQ youth/family JOY! Party in the Curious George Room with families of all ages, and join CPL in showing your pride!
