Every month we will read and discuss a short story as a group. This month's story is "The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas" by Ursula K. LeGuin. Copies of the story will be provided, and no preparation is need. Registration helpful but not required.

There are a number of affordable housing services, special events, and cost-assistance programs available throughout the City.

Learn during lunch! Join Ranger Jean and staff on a walk to different habitats around the reservation. We will discuss the ecology and natural & human history of the landscape, with topics varying based on the interest of the group. Come with questions, or just to walk and listen. Pre-registration Required. The four-week workshop will cover a variety of topics including: an overview of the home buying process, credit & budgeting, obtaining a mortgage, legal issues, home inspections, and an introduction to Cambridge's financial assistance programs. Classes include a combination of presentations by Cambridge homebuyer counselors, local real estate brokers, home inspectors and loan officers. Participants are expected to attend all four classes and class begins promptly at 6:00pm.
