The Cambridge Small Business Mentorship Program provides mentorship opportunities and other resources to business owners in Cambridge.

Participatory Budgeting is a democratic process that empowers community members to decide how to spend part of a public budget. In June and July 2022, community members submitted 1,320 ideas on how to spend $1 million of the City of Cambridge’s FY24 Capital Budget. From August to November, over 70 volunteer PB Delegates worked on five committees to research and evaluate those ideas and develop 20 final proposals for the PB ballot.

Community meeting notice for Mass Ave Planning Study - Ideas for North Mass Ave. This is the second meeting for this study area. We will be presenting initial ideas and developing recommendations for this part of the study area between Porter Square and Alewife Brook Pkwy.

Pre-registration Required. The four-week workshop will cover a variety of topics including: an overview of the home buying process, credit & budgeting, obtaining a mortgage, legal issues, home inspections, and an introduction to Cambridge's financial assistance programs. Classes include a combination of presentations by Cambridge homebuyer counselors, local real estate brokers, home inspectors and loan officers. Participants are expected to attend all four classes and class begins promptly at 6:00pm.
