The Affordable Housing Trust's August 2025 meeting is cancelled. The next CAHT meeting is currently scheduled for September 25th, 2025 at 4 p.m (subject to change). Join us for a morning walk at one of the most renowned birdwatching spots in Cambridge, Mount Auburn Cemetery! We will help you identify birds, learn birdwatching tips and tricks, and familiarize yourself with migratory birds as well as those that can be spotted all year round. A limited supply of binoculars will be available. UPDATE: With the May 28th reopening of the Collins Branch Library, this walk will now meet in the courtyard of the Collins Branch at 64 Aberdeen Ave. Welcome back! Registration is required. This event can only accommodate a certain number of participants. One registration is good for one person. If you do not register, you cannot participate. Those on the waitlist will be contacted if a space becomes available.

The City of Cambridge today announced the April schedule for its 7 days per week testing program, including walk-in and appointment-based testing options. Appointment-only testing, provided through a partnership with CIC Health, will continue be available 7 days per week at CIC Health’s 295 Third Street location to people who live or work in Cambridge.

The last Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day of 2022 for residents only will be held on Saturday, November 5, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at 50 Mooney Street. Please enter the event via Smith Place off of Concord Avenue. The City’s Department of Public Works (DPW) and Cambridge Police Department will be on site to assist with traffic.

Response to Cambridge City Council Awaiting Report Item Number 20-41, regarding a report on the feasibility of an alternative Public Safety Crisis Response System, received from Police Commissioner Branville G. Bard, Assistant City Manager for Human Services Ellen Semonoff, Chief Public Health Officer Claude Jacob and Director of Emergency Communications Christina Giacobbe.

Your collective input has been invaluable to our efforts, as illustrated by the current situation and the effective mitigation of COVID-19 here in Cambridge.
