Join Navigation Games for Leprechaun Orienteering, a free and fun outdoor event for all ages at Kingsley Park in Fresh Pond Reservation. Teams of 2–4 people will travel through the park and use a special map to look for checkpoints — before tricky leprechauns move them! The event is sponsored by the City of Cambridge.

Continued implementation of the Urban Forest Master Plan (UFMP) guides development of Cambridge’s tree assets and enables the City to expand the urban forest canopy and be more resilient to climate change. In FY22, Public Works reached the UFMP ecommendation of planting 1,000 trees annually. To increase long-term survival of newly planted trees, Public Works has improved pre-planting soil preparation and post-planting aftercare. The City of Cambridge Pandemic Collaborative and its partners is offering upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinics. These clinics are free. No appointment is required, and you do not need insurance, an ID, or a social security number to get the vaccine. Getting a vaccine will NOT affect a public charge determination or immigration status.

The Cambridge Public Health Department will hold a Summer Vaccine Party at the King Open School on July 14 and August 4.
