The Cambridge Public Schools’ Innovation Agenda will result in the creation of four new upper school campuses serving students in grades 6 to 8. The Tobin and Darby Vassall Upper Schools, located at 197 Vassal Lane, Cambridge, will be the third school to be redesigned.

Tonight's concert will be moved indoors to the Lecture Hall at the Main Library (449 Broadway) due to the potential for rain. Albino Mbie is an award winning Musician, Guitarist, Singer, Composer, Sound and mixing engineer born in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, a country in southern Africa known for its rich musical and cultural heritage. In 2010, the City of Cambridge Community Development Department began a study to explore ways to improve the character of “North Mass Ave” from Beech Street to the Arlington line, with the goal of developing recommendations for improvements that address zoning and urban design objectives.

In this workshop, you will learn the history of Pysanky, the centuries old tradition of Ukrainian egg decorating. In this process-based workshop, participants will create and take home their very own special Ukrainian pysanka. All materials will be provided. Registration is required.

The Community Safety Department is a fully funded city department that exists outside of the traditional scope of public safety.
