Unveiling of Native Spaces - Indigenous Street Signs Project
The City of Cambridge and members of the local Massachusett tribe will unveil newly installed street signs in East Cambridge that will be presented in both the Massachusett and English languages. The special event will take place on Friday, November 29 at 2 p.m. at the intersection of Third Street and Binney Street in East Cambridge (Parcel 6).
Rindge Commons Housing Applications Due October 16
Just A Start is proud to announce an affordable housing lottery for 14 new one and two-bedroom apartments in Cambridge at the Rindge Commons North project. An additional 8 units will be leased by the Cambridge Housing Authority waitlist, and 2 Community Based Housing (CBH) units will be leased by the Massachusetts Rehab Commission waitlist.
Vampire Orienteering at Danehy Park
Join Navigation Games for Vampire Orienteering, a free and fun outdoor event for all ages at Danehy Park! Teams of 2–4 people will travel through the park and use a special map to look for checkpoints — before vampires steal them! The event is offered by Navigation Games and sponsored by the City of Cambridge Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP).
