Cambridge Businesses Honored at 2024 Legacy Luncheon Awards
On Wednesday, May 1, 2024 the City of Cambridge kicked off National Small Business Month by hosting the Cambridge Legacy Business Luncheon. This event celebrates some of the oldest businesses in Cambridge.

Filming-related road closures on Harvard Bridge, Memorial Drive on Sunday, April 2
Expect road closures and traffic impacts on April 2. Harvard Bridge will close from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Memorial Drive will close between Vassar Street and Binney Street from 1:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Winter Warming Center
The Winter Warming Center, open December 1 through April 30 for the 2025-2026 season, provides a safe and welcoming space at night for adults experiencing homelessness. The nightly maximum capacity at the Warming Center is 35 individuals.

COA Lunch Changes
The Cambridge Council on Aging partners with Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services (SCES) to offer hot, nutritious lunch meals to Cambridge residents ages 60 and older. Changes in funding allocation will impact the lunch meal program beginning April 1.
Magic Tree House Book Group (O'Connell/Virtual)
Our Magic Tree House book group for kids ages 5-10 meets the first Friday of the month. Pick up a copy of the book beforehand. Our September book is Magic Tree House #1, "Dinosaurs Before Dark." This event is onsite at O'Connell, with the option to attend virtually. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1 hour before the event. Need a laptop or hotspot to participate?
