New healthy PVC-free nap mats will help Cambridge preschoolers sleep safely! We will purchase 80 mats for programs still using old mats that are coated with PVC, a chemical associated with negative health effects. All kids in Cambridge preschools deserve a safe nap!

Families with elementary school-age children join us for hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Math. Adults and children will learn and play together! Through hands-on experiments and fun, interactive stories, kids will get excited about the science that’s all around us as we celebrate the scientists who color our world with art! The Cambridge Youth Council is holding its first College Prep Panel to provide students with valuable insights on how to maximize their time in preparation for college success. Our panelists, with diverse post-graduation experiences, will share their perspectives to help students plan their futures. Light refreshments provided.

Join the Boston Festival Orchestra for an afternoon of music that explores the art of sound and color! Free for all, this vivid program features incredible live music and a colorful theme that is perfect for audiences of all ages.

Paint the youth buildings in Cambridge with colors and patterns. Students and families from each youth center would participate in deciding the colors/design for each building and help with the painting to increase community involvement.
