Cambridge Young Authors' Squad - CYAS - Fall 2026 Kickoff (O'Neill)
Help us kick off the new school year with CYAS- Cambridge Young Authors' Squad.
Young people ages 10 to 14 who love to write are welcome to share their ideas and writing. There will be time for share-outs/workshopping, as well as group or solo writing. Snacks are provided!
If you are attending for the first time, registration is helpful, but not required.
Wellness for Older Adults: Let Your Yoga Dance (Virtual)
A fun, dynamic, and ultimately blissful class. We'll work our way through the seven energy centers (chakras) with Let Your Yoga Dance. You will leave with a good workout and a peaceful happy mind/body/spirit. Good for every body!
Registration for each session is required.
This is a virtual event. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1 hour before the event.

Learn to Ride Workshops
The Department of Transportation’s free adult bike workshops help participants build confidence and develop safe riding skills in a supportive environment. Programs include Learn to Bike for beginners, Road Readiness for riders looking to improve their skills, and On-Road Skills for adults interested in gaining confidence riding on city streets. Workshops are free, open to adults, and include the use of bicycles and helmets.

LEGO Time (Main)
It's a weekly block party! Join friends to design and build amazing LEGO structures. Let your imagination run wild! For children ages 5 and up (children under age 7 must be accompanied by a caregiver).
The Children's Room has plenty of LEGO pieces, so you don't need to bring your own. LEGO pieces are choking hazards for young children. This program can accommodate 30 builders. . Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. This program starts promptly and any unclaimed seats will be offered to someone waiting. Read to a Dog (Valente)
Read to Dante, our local cuddly therapy dog! Trained therapy dogs provide warm and non-judgmental reading companions for new or experienced readers up to age 14. Registration for each 15-minute time slot is required and begins on Wednesday, January 22 by calling or visiting the Valente Branch (617-349-4015).
