Cool Spots have now expanded to Porter Square for Spring and Summer 2026!

An opportunity to engage with city staff and discuss the installation of separated bike lanes in Porter Square.

More than five acres of new and renovated public open space will be created in Kendall Square and Eastern Cambridge over the next few years. The Eastern Cambridge Kendall Square Open Space (ECKOS) Planning Study is working to shape these new parks.

During 2013 Homeowners Rehab Inc. purchased the Putnam Square Apartments at 2 Mt Auburn Street, preserving 94 units of affordable housing for seniors and disabled individuals.
