This summer, BioMed Realty and the City of Cambridge teamed up to provide local Cambridge teens with a valuable, hands-on introduction to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) careers at some of the world’s most innovative companies.

Come to the Library for games and a different activity each week! Kids of all ages can hang out and do crafts or STEAM activities. No registration required. This week we will celebrate the World Cup and make flags for our favorite teams!

There are many ways to play in Cambridge this summer! Craft, dance, sing, explore, and learn together in parks and plazas across the city with Cambridge Plays. Cambridge Plays events are outdoors, free, and open to people of all ages.

The City of Cambridge installed a new series of Cool Spots across Porter Square – welcoming outdoor seating areas designed to bring shade, comfort, and opportunities for social connection to some of the neighborhood’s hottest and most heavily traveled plazas and sidewalks.

Would-be programmers with basic computer literacy are invited to join this workshop series.
