Join Cambridge Camping and the Cambridge Community Center for our first 2026 Village Building Series event: a live theater performance of Inventing Samanta (Our Ray of Hope) at the Cambridge Public Library. The play is performed by actors ages 19-26, following a group of high school students and exploring why - despite age, identity, or background - anyone can be an inventor. Presented by Central Square Theater's Youth Underground, with funding from Cambridge STEAM. This event is cosponsored by the Cambridge Public Library.

Here’s your chance to try an instrument in a judgment-free zone that encourages exploration and excitement! After an introduction to the instruments, participants get a chance to bow a violin, blow a horn or tap out a rhythm on a drum. Recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. Learn about the rabbits that we raise at Land’s Sake. This program includes a rabbit-themed story time, learning about rabbit behavior and anatomy, and a rabbit themed game. The highlight of the program is the Bunny Circle, where youth are able to touch and interact with live rabbits. Join us for live Folk Music with award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist Kim Moberg and enjoy classic folk songs, treasured favorites, and original music! Kim was born in Juneau, Alaska, the daughter of a mother of Alaskan Native Tlingit descent and a US Coast Guard veteran father from Kansas. Her mission is to connect people in empathy and social consciousness through the storytelling power of Folk Music. Join us for a collaborative experience where families build and battle robots together. This event is recommended for children ages 7 and up and their families. This program can accommodate 16 families. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket.
