Eve Costarelli, of Always Be Dancing, will lead this interactive, engaging program for families that will get everyone dancing! Join us for a body-stretching, hand-clapping, foot-stomping good time. In this upbeat program, that is infused with the music and dance of flamenco, participants will absorb the dramatic postures and colorful flavor of flamenco while also exploring yoga poses and mindfulness. This program is for children of all abilities and their caregivers.

Cambridge Main Library celebrates pride with the Grumpytime Club! The Grumpytime Club’s original music for children and their caregivers is creative, positive, thoughtful, beautifully crafted, and catchy as cake! Led by award-winning singer songwriter Carrie Ferguson, the Grumpytime Club creates live shows that are often jubilant sing-along dance parties, highlighting themes of inclusivity, social justice, Earth stewardship and LGBTQ youth/family JOY! Choose from a selection of images and transform it into a print by carving the image into easy cut linoleum. You will love the satisfying process of carving away the linoleum to reveal the design. Once the carving is complete, the block will be inked and printed. Each person will take home a carved block for future use, and a collection of their own hand printed pieces!

Experience the joy of Hip Hop Xpression with Jarell Howard Rochelle in this fun, high-energy program for kids and teens. Participants will learn simple choreography, explore freestyle movement, and be introduced to authentic hip hop terminology and culture. This interactive class emphasizes connection, creativity, and self-expression, while celebrating the spirit of hip-hop. No prior dance experience is needed — just come ready to move, laugh, and have fun together. Families and youth of all ages are welcome.
