Changes to COVID-19 Case Count Reporting

Beginning Tuesday, April 14, the Cambridge Public Health Department (CPHD) will provide an aggregate count of COVID-19 positive case count data that includes all Cambridge residents (whether they live in a skilled nursing facility or elsewhere in the city).

Climate Action Book Club (Collins)

Join the Collins Branch Library in collaboration with the Cambridge Climate Leaders Initiative for a monthly discussion of a climate-related topic. Each month the group will discuss a book on the topic at hand then hear about a related local program or initiative and how you can take action. Topic: Regenerative Possibilities Book: Not Too Late: Changing the Climate Story from Despair to Possibility - edited by Rebecca Solnit & Thelma Young Lutunatabua Meetings will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. Copies of the book will be available at the Collins Branch during library hours. Self-Defense Training

To allow women in Cambridge to gain the tools necessary to protect themselves, the Cambridge Police Department currently offers a self-defense training course for women ages 16 and older, who live or work in the City of Cambridge.

OST Expansion Study

The City of Cambridge, in partnership with Cambridge Public Schools, has released the Cambridge Out-of-School Time (OST) Expansion Study Report. The purpose of the study is to better understand the unmet need in Cambridge by fully examining the demand for afterschool seats and the current capacity to meet that demand.
