The Cambridge Commercial Parking Control Committee is a five-member board established to review applications for new Commercial Parking Permits.

We will use text art inspired by artists that work in collage, stencil and 3D art. Come make your very own unique colorful vibrant Spring posters. We will be using flowers, fabric and more.

Learn how set up your smartphone (iPhone or Android), how to adapt your phone to your needs (brightness, font size), common gestures and symbols and how to connect to the internet. This class will be delivered by a DOORS program instructor. The City of Cambridge is excited to once again invite community members to vote on projects aimed at improving the city as part of the 10th Participatory Budgeting (PB) process. From March 7 to March 17, 2024, all Cambridge residents aged 12 and older, including all 6th graders and university students, will have the opportunity to participate.

Recent changes include the return of weekend service on Route 64 along eastern Broadway for the first time since 1981, more frequent trips and extended hours on Routes 66, 71, 73, and 77, and upcoming improvements as part of the MBTA Bus Network Redesign plan.

The Community Development Department (CDD) is leading a community process to update zoning for Central Square. Zoning is the set of rules that control the allowed shape, density, and use of the property, and the goal of this update is to allow for and encourage the continued growth, redevelopment, and evolution of the district. Guided by community goals identified in prior planning efforts, zoning recommendations will focus on - increasing housing, - creating public spaces to build community, and - supporting our diverse retail, cultural, and non-profit community.

Envision Cambridge is the City’s current citywide plan, a roadmap to the year 2030, setting out a course of action to promote sustainable and inclusive growth. It establishes a framework for growth management that builds upon and complements existing patterns of development, while meeting the needs of today’s community and future generations. Prior to the establishment of Envision Cambridge, the comprehensive plan for Cambridge was composed of a set of documents: The Zoning Map and the Zoning Ordinance, the City’s growth policy document, Toward A Sustainable Future, and the major area-wide planning studies across the city.
