Looking for fun outdoor activities to do with your young children this summer? Join the Department of Human Service Programs' Community Schools division for some fun at Cooper Park!

Join us for a guided 60-minute art tour featuring public artwork in East Cambridge and learn about how Cambridge Arts commissions and maintains art for public enjoyment. We will visit three public artworks, and two sidewalk poems. Meet at Centanni Park between the Multicultural Arts Center and the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds. This event is part of our Time Out for Public Art series in collaboration with Cambridge Arts. In October, these will be 60-minute art tours where we visit multiple sites as a group. Registration is required.

Jefferson Park Federal site consists of 175 formerly federally funded public housing apartments located near the Alewife MTBA station in North Cambridge.

Live Painting exhibits by well-known local artist information about local artist institutions. Live music by DJ Vyper, food by Everybody Gotta Eat's Curated chefs, artists booths and more.

Riverbend Park will continue to open for pedestrian and cyclist use on Saturdays and Sundays through November 29, 2020 and Memorial Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
