Corcoran Park AHO Community Meeting
The CHA is starting the zoning and permitting process for the Modernization of Corcoran Park under the City’s new Affordable Housing Overlay (AHO). This process follows a series of resident meetings, door knocking at Corcoran Park and abutting properties, phone and text outreach to Corcoran Park residents, and August poster sessions open to the neighborhood. Finding your way at Danehy Park
This proposal will install new signs and maps at Danehy Park. Existing signs are broken, outdated, or missing making it difficult to navigate the 50-acre park. New signs will make Danehy inviting and easy to navigate for all visitors.
Vampire Orienteering at Danehy Park
Join Navigation Games for Vampire Orienteering, a free and fun outdoor event for all ages at Danehy Park! Teams of 2–4 people will travel through the park and use a special map to look for checkpoints — before vampires steal them! The event is offered by Navigation Games and sponsored by the City of Cambridge Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP).

Danehy Park is a popular, 50-acre park in north Cambridge. For more than 30 years, residents and visitors have enjoyed the park’s athletic fields, walking paths, playgrounds, public art, dog park, and community events. We want Danehy Park to continue being a place that everyone can enjoy. We are starting a community process to gather ideas, information, and feedback about how to make Danehy even better!
