In this monthly book group for readers 15-18 years old, we will read contemporary titles written for a general adult audience that have broad appeal for teens. Pizza provided. For our first meeting, we will discuss some of our favorite books and vote for our first selection.

Lunch at the Library for Teens (O'Connell)
Take a break from your studies and join us for lunch! Free pizza will be provided while supplies last and you will have the chance to share your ideas for future events at O’Connell! If you have any dietary restrictions, please call the branch by Monday, Nov 24, 2025 at (617) 349-4019. This is a drop-in event designed for patrons ages 12-18. No registration required.

Join us as award-winning storyteller Motoko tells delightful folktales and leads hands-on origami activities. Motoko’s step-by-step instructions make the ancient Japanese art fun and accessible. No registration required. This event is intended for school-aged children and is open to drop-in attendees while space and supplies last.

Community Office Hours With City Leaders
In response to the non-fatal shooting of a Cambridge male in the area Columbia Terrace shortly before midnight on Wednesday, October 7, the Mayor and Acting Police Commissioner will host drop-in office hours for any interested residents and businesses in The Port. Office hours will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 7:30-9 p.m. at the St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Bright Hall, at 37 Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge.

Office hours will be held on Monday, October 12, 6–7:30 p.m. at the Fresh Pond Apartments at the 362 Rindge Avenue Community Room.
