Property owners/residents are responsible for removing all snow and ice from sidewalks and accessible ramps next to their property following a storm per City Ordinance. Here are some helpful tips to follow.

Nomination papers for City Council and School Committee will be available beginning Tuesday, July 1st at the Election Commission office. Please be aware that the Election Commission office has moved to 689 Massachusetts Ave.
Look and Listen Safer Crossing for Cambridge
Install pedestrian crosswalk signals that vibrate with audio at 10 locations and rapid flashing beacons at 5 locations in Cambridge. This equipment will provide greater visibility and safety at crosswalks throughout the city.
Trolley Square Study
In 2001 the City acquired title to a site in Trolley Square previously owned by the MBTA. This future of this site was the focus of the work of the Trolley Square Committee.
New Riverside Park
The new community park in Riverside at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Western Avenue was created as part of an agreement between the City of Cambridge, Harvard University and the Riverside Neighborhood.
COVID-19 Vaccine Frequently Asked Questions (as of December 23, 2020)
The City of Cambridge and the Cambridge Public Health Department recognize that there are many questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, including safety of the vaccines; trust in government and pharmaceutical companies who developed the vaccines; potential side effects; who should and should not receive the vaccine; and where vaccines will be administered. CPHD and the City will continue to update residents and those who work in Cambridge as more information becomes available.
