Food trucks are an important and growing part of the Cambridge food businesses economy. Food trucks offer new food businesses a relatively low-cost opportunity for testing menu items, building brand awareness, and growing a loyal customer base.

STAR Communities assesses communities on their programs, policies and accomplishments that promote environmental, social and economic sustainability. Cambridge achieved the highest rating in the country from STAR Communities for its leadership in sustainability.

Cambridge has cyclists aged under 8 to 80+. To educate and protect bicyclists and bicycles, we propose safety training for grade school students, offering free helmets, and the installation of an artistic bike shelter at the main library.
