Cambridge is known for its pioneering work to promote and encourage sustainable transportation, and we hope this magazine informs you about current transportation initiatives and inspires you to explore the city.

Learn how to visually capture your own memoir or fictional creation in a short graphic novel through story planning, character development, and techniques for capturing emotions, motion, and time. Materials provided and no prior art or author experience needed! Registration is required, and registering for this session includes the following two Tuesdays 1/20, and 1/27. This program is for ages 10-18. The City of Cambridge does not discriminate, including on the basis of disability. Join the LUCE Immigration Justice Network of Massachusetts to learn how to respond to immigration enforcement in your community. LUCE volunteers will cover bystanders’ rights when witnessing immigration enforcement, as well as how to identify potential Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity and how to safely engage. You will also learn more about LUCE and how their statewide hotline works. This is a hybrid event. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered online participants 1 hour before the event. Interpretation services are available to online attendees by request in a number of languages. To request interpretation, please indicate your language needs on the registration form by Tuesday, March 31st. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Cambridge Police Commissioner Christine Elow have confirmed that Victor Rivas, 51, of South Boston has been arrested and charged with assault and battery, dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury following a fatal stabbing that occurred last night inside of a residential building on Norfolk Street in Cambridge.
