Join Tessa Bachi Haas, ICA/Boston Assistant Curator, for a deep dive into Stanley Whitney: How High the Moon, the first retrospective to trace the evolution of Stanley Whitney’s unique and powerful abstractions. In this talk, discover how Whitney developed his iconic gridded format and explore 50 years of powerful, color-saturated painting.
Stanley Whitney: How High the Moon is on view at ICA/Boston now through September 1, 2025. The exhibition organized by the Buffalo AKG Art Museum and curated by Cathleen Chaffee, Charles Balbach Chief Curator, Buffalo AKG Art Museum. The ICA/Boston’s presentation is organized by Ruth Erickson, Barbara Lee Chief Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs, with Tessa Bachi Haas, Assistant Curator.

The Housing Liaison to the City Manager was established in 2019 to augment the work of the Community Development Department (CDD) and the Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) in addressing the affordable housing crisis in the City.

Upgrade the Gately Youth Center
The Gately Youth Center is in need of an upgrade. Updating the furniture and music studio as well as renovating the kitchen would bring more youth and foster stronger community at the center.
STEAM in the Early Years
The Cambridge STEAM Initiative and the Cambridge Office of Early Education (OEC) sponsor a "STEAM in the Early Years" workshop series, which includes data-driven research and hands-on activities that reinforce the importance of encouraging STEAM identity development in our youngest learners.
Furniture for the O’Connell Library
The furniture at the O’Connell library is quite worn down. This proposal would provide the library with new tables, chairs, computer workstations, and loveseats for parents and children to read together.
