City of Cambridge Announces Rollback to a Modified Phase II, Step 2 for Three Weeks Beginning December 26, 2020
The City of Cambridge announced that in addition to Governor Baker's capacity restrictions released on December 22, 2020 in the Governor’s COVID-19 Order # 59, the City is issuing a temporary emergency order to further reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Cambridge. Effective at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 26, the City of Cambridge will roll back to a modified Phase II, Step 2 of the Commonwealth’s Reopening Massachusetts Plan until at least 12:00 a.m. on January 16, 2021, or until further modified.

Iftar is the evening meal where Muslims break their fast after sunset during the Holy month of Ramadan.
Cambridge Affordable Housing Trust
The Affordable Housing Trust will hold its monthly meeting in-person and via Zoom webinar. July's meeting (previously scheduled for July 24) has been postponed to July 31, 2025 at 4 p.m. It will be held at City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave, in the Ackerman Room. Celebrate reading with fellow new readers at the Valente Branch Library! We will explore a book from the Beginning Reader collection, spend time reading together, and do an activity! Copies of the book will be provided via the library; participants may check out a copy to take home after the program.
This is open to students in kindergarten through second grade who are practicing reading independently; their grown-ups are welcome to join us.

Cool Off This Summer: Cambridge Waterplay Features Are Now Open
With temperatures expected to rise into the upper 80s this week, the City of Cambridge is excited to welcome the return of waterplay season! Waterplay features at many neighborhood parks and playgrounds are now open for the summer and offer a fun, free way for kids to cool off and stay active.

This is the second regular meeting of the Mass Ave Planning Study Working Group, a representative body of neighborhood stakeholders that will help guide the planning process for Mass Ave from Cambridge Common to Alewife Brook Parkway.

LOCATION CHANGED - Beginning English Class (MAIN)
This event has been moved to the Community Room on L2 at the Main Library, located at 449 Broadway, due to the temporary closing of the Valente Branch.
