Did you know you can vote for a winner in the Massachusetts Children's Book Award each year? Join us the 1st Wednesday of each month as we read and discuss some of the MCBA nominated books. Cast your vote for your favorite nominated title, right here at the library. This program is for kids in 4th, 5th and 6th grade (or equivalent ages). Registration is required. Join us for a simple discussion on the life cycle of a plant, then make some seed art to take home! Recommended for children ages 5 and up and their caregivers. This program can accommodate 50 people. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly. Unclaimed seats will be offered to someone waiting. We appreciate your patience and understanding. The Baker-Polito Administration announced that beginning next week, most of the Commonwealth’s mass vaccination sites will open for walk-up appointments.

The Lechmere Square Public Market Feasibility Study is an outgrowth of a proposal put forward by a number of residents of East Cambridge to create a year-round public market on the site once the station has moved

The event will feature vehicles and interactive exhibits from Cambridge Police, Fire, Public Works, Animal Control, Emergency Communications, and the Park Rangers, along with our partners from the Massachusetts Environmental Police, Middlesex Sheriff’s Office, and Professional Ambulance Service.
