Esta clase de RCP cubrirá habilidades para salvar la vida de bebés, niños y adultos. Utilizaremos tecnología y práctica para que los estudiantes adquieran habilidades y confianza para ayudar a salvar la vida en una situación médica. Esta clase también cubrirá entrenamiento y el uso de DEA (Desfibrilador Externo Automatizado) para todas las edades, junto con habilidades para salvar la vida de una persona en situación de asfixia. Los estudiantes recibirán su certificado al completar la clase. Tenga en cuenta que la Ciudad no es responsable del contenido o equipo de entrenamiento.
Cupos limitados (20 adultos), se requiere inscripción.
Nota para participantes CONFIRMADOS: Su lugar está reservado hasta la hora de inicio del programa. Una vez que comience el programa, llenaremos los lugares disponibles de una lista de espera del día hasta que el programa alcance su capacidad máxima. 49 Sixth St Launch Event
On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, leaders from the City of Cambridge and the Commonwealth gathered with nonprofit Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) to mark the beginning of renovations at the former Sacred Heart church rectory and school in East Cambridge. By the end of 2027, POAH plans to complete construction on the property, which will create 46 new permanently affordable apartment homes.
District Attorney Announces Arrest of Edward J. Watson in 1992 Cold Case Murder of Michelle Miller
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Cambridge Police Commissioner Christine Elow announced today that thirty-two years after the crime occurred, Edward J. Watson, 65, of Mattapan, has been arrested for the murder of Michelle Miller. Miller, a former
U.S. Army soldier was 29 years old when she was last seen alive in Central Square, Cambridge. Her body was found in the basement of a vacant apartment two weeks later, when a neighbor complained of a foul odor.

When a valuable necklace is stolen from Simon's new apartment complex, it's up to him and a quirky neighbor to solve the mystery before he and his family have to move again. Copies of this month's book are available at the Children's Desk.
Both caregiver and child should read the book before the discussion to participate. Registration is required — only one registration is needed per family.

Know Your Rights: Information Session for TPS Recipients (Central Square/Virtual)
Join us for a Know Your Rights presentation led by an attorney from De Novo.
This session will share important updates for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) recipients, including:
How to renew your TPS
Work permit and travel information
Legal supports and available resources
You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and connect with local organizations that can help with ongoing support. This a hybrid event. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1 hour before the event. We will be providing interpretation in Spanish and Haitian Creole on location during the event. Registration is encouraged but not required. Pizza will be provided!
