Calling all middle grade readers! Meet up in the Curious George Room every third Thursday to eat pizza and talk about books with your friends. This month's book is "The Creepening of Dogwood House" by Eden Royce. Copies will be kept behind the children's room desk for pick up. Snacks are provided. This group is for ages 10-12. Inventing Samanta (Main)
Join Cambridge Camping and the Cambridge Community Center for our first 2026 Village Building Series event: a live theater performance of Inventing Samanta (Our Ray of Hope) at the Cambridge Public Library. The play is performed by actors ages 19-26, following a group of high school students and exploring why - despite age, identity, or background - anyone can be an inventor. Presented by Central Square Theater's Youth Underground, with funding from Cambridge STEAM. This event is cosponsored by the Cambridge Public Library.

Expect rolling road closures and traffic on Saturday, July 22, for the Run to Home Base 5K and 9K road races. Both races begin in Boston and cross into Cambridge over the Mass Ave Bridge.
