PB Cycle 10
The City of Cambridge launched the 10th Cycle of Participatory Budgeting and collected over 1,100 ideas from the community between September 11 – October 9, 2023, about how to spend $2 million on projects to improve Cambridge.

War Memorial Family Swim
Beginning Tuesday, September 2, the War Memorial Recreation Center (1640 Cambridge St.) will reopen for programming and public swim for the fall season. This year, we are excited to offer free Family Swim through the month of September.
Overhead Wire Removal Continuing October 1
The MBTA is continuing to decommission its Overhead Catenary System (OCS) which had supported its recently retired Electric Trolley Bus Fleet. There will be a crew on Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2 working from 6am to 6pm.
Household Hazardous Waste Day Saturday November 2nd
The last of four Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days in 2024 will be on Saturday, November 2, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at 51 Mooney Street. Please enter the event via Fawcett St. This event is for Cambridge residents only.

Join friends and neighbors for a potluck! Try a recipe and bring your results or thoughts to share and discuss with other cooks. All experience levels welcome. No need to bring a dish to join.
Books will be available for pick up at the Boudreau and Collins Branches during library hours.
This event will take place outdoors at the Collins Branch (64 Aberdeen Ave).
