– A man has been charged with allegedly trafficking a woman to engage in commercial sex acts, coercing her to travel across state lines to engage in commercial sex, forcing her to assist him in robbing multiple convenience stores in Massachusetts, and forced her to assist in procuring an illegal firearm for him to use in one of the robberies.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by making your own papel picado ("pecked paper") inspired by beautiful folk art examples from Mexico. We will provide the tissue paper and scissors, you bring your imagination! Recommended for children ages 7 years old and up and their caregivers. Registration is not required for this event.

Learn how to seamlessly integrate interactive improv games, scenes, and skillful storytelling that all come together with performance. This will be an in-person program at the Main Library. Young people ages 10 to 14 who love to write are welcome to share their ideas and writing. There will be time for share-outs/workshopping, as well as group or solo writing. Snacks are provided! If you are attending for the first time, registration is helpful, but not required.
