The five-member Cambridge Commercial Parking Control Committee (CPCC) reviews applications for new Commercial Parking Permits. The CPCC meets on an as-needed basis with meetings held at least biannually, based on submission applications for Commercial Parking Permits.

CPD's Secret Santa for Seniors Gift Drive is Back for Its 19th Year. This program relies solely on generous donations from Cambridge businesses, residents, community members, and CPD employees. Gift bags are organized and distributed to seniors throughout the city on the days leading up to Christmas to remind them that they are not forgotten. The program is a great way to support Local Businesses and Seniors This Holiday Season. Gifts can be dropped off 24/7 at drop boxes in the first-floor main lobby of the Robert W. Improving public health in Cambridge is a citywide effort involving many City departments and community partners. The Cambridge Public Health Department (CPHD), a nationally accredited health department, spearheads the City’s public health approach and programming.

The City has launched a 21st Century Broadband initiative and hired nationally known CTC Technology & Energy (CTC) to conduct a feasibility study to help the City achieve its digital equity connectivity and Municipal Broadband goals.

Curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost, and yard waste will be one day behind schedule for the remainder of the week. Street cleaning that normally would have occurred on Wednesday, June 19, was previously swept on May 30.
