As cases continue to increase in Massachusetts and in Cambridge, the City is reminding residents that COVID-19 is still with us. Help prevent the spread by remembering the basics - Wear a mask or face covering, Practice physical distancing, Wash your hands for 20 seconds.

Cambridge City Manager Yi-An Huang and Police Commissioner Christine Elow announced the release of the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) independent review of the January 4, 2023 fatal officer-involved shooting of Sayed Faisal, a 20-year-old experiencing an apparent mental-health crisis.

The City of Cambridge will temporarily begin sourcing its water from the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority (MWRA) starting Tuesday, August 30, 2022. The Cambridge Water Department anticipates that the MWRA will exclusively supply all of Cambridge’s public water through the end of the year.

The City of Cambridge's 2023 Annual Martin Luther King Day Commemoration and Remembrance will take place on Monday, January 16 at 11 AM at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Central Square. It will feature readings, music, remarks from Gail Packer, and a community lunch.
