Cambridge’s AxisGIS web map is the most robust interactive mapping solution. It has many features which allow users to view, query, and create maps. Users can also export selected datasets, generate abutters list for mailings, use measurement tools, mark up maps, send links to other users by e-mail, and more! Whether you’re an experienced GIS user or a first-time viewer, the AxisGIS interactive web map is a great way to explore the city and create your own personalized maps.

Binney Street Park, located between Binney Street and Broadway along Galileo Galilei Way, is one of three new City open spaces in eastern Cambridge. The design of the park was guided by the Eastern Cambridge/Kendall Square Open Space (ECKOS) Study and Connect Kendall Square Open Space Competition, which resulted in a framework plan for the overall network of open spaces in eastern Cambridge. This new park will feature a variety of tree plantings, a dog run, lounge and play surfaces, and will include a segment of the Grand Junction Greenway.

Join us for activities celebrating the theme of "Plant a Seed, Read" all summer long. Today's activity is perler bead plants. Work with perler beads to follow a pattern and create a flower, fruit or your own unique design. We'll fuse the finished product into place for you to take home. Recommended for children ages 6-12 and their caregivers. The Cambridge Public Art Commission helps guide the implementation of the Public Art Ordinance and the Art Gifts and Donation Policy, and advises on the overall direction of the City of Cambridge’s Public Art Program. The Commission brings its collective expertise to bear on discussions regarding the various program areas of the public art program, such as acquisition and deaccession, project planning, maintenance, conservation, educational programming, and the exhibitions in Gallery 344. The Commission reviews every percent-for-art project from artists’ proposals to final design. PAC approval is required before a project can go into fabrication.
