Collective bargaining agreement between the City of Cambridge and Cambridge Police Patrol Officers Association

The Housing Liaison to the City Manager was established in 2019 to augment the work of the Community Development Department (CDD) and the Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) in addressing the affordable housing crisis in the City.

This page provides an overview to the City of Cambridge's procurement process for different purchases.

CDD's Community Planning Division conducts open space planning throughout the city and oversees major design, construction and renovation projects for Cambridge's parks and playgrounds. Community Planning staff also frequently consult with City departments and other groups on open space projects.

The City of Cambridge will distributing finished compost free of charge to Cambridge residents.

CDD has completed its annual update to the stock of affordable housing units in the city.  There are now 8,931 affordable housing units in the city, a net increase of 340 affordable units from the 2023 total of 8,591 units.
