Street trees cool the city, absorb pollution, and make our neighborhoods more livable! Vote to plant 100 new trees & build tree wells in the areas that need them most, along with educational signage so you can learn about your “green neighbors."

This summer, BioMed Realty and the City of Cambridge teamed up to provide local Cambridge teens with a valuable, hands-on introduction to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) careers at some of the world’s most innovative companies.

There are many ways to play in Cambridge this summer! Craft, dance, sing, explore, and learn together in parks and plazas across the city with Cambridge Plays. Cambridge Plays events are outdoors, free, and open to people of all ages.

We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for our monthly evening story time event. This program will run for 20-25 minutes, with songs, stories and rhymes. No registration is required. Join the City of Cambridge Department of Veterans Services (DVS) to to commemorate military members lost due to maritime battles/ disasters. We will release flowers, have a moment of silence, and reflect while listening to a recording of the Navy Academy Choir.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Spelling Bee. The spelling bee aims to enhance the spelling and vocabulary skills of contestants while promoting reading, writing, and appreciation for the power of words. Community members are invited to attend the finals to provide support and cheer on contestants.
