Danehy’s signage can be confusing. Fitness stations are hard to find and people work out on benches. The City will improve fitness options for adults, add seating in the dog park, and revamp signage to show everybody what Danehy has to offer.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Spelling Bee. The spelling bee aims to enhance the spelling and vocabulary skills of contestants while promoting reading, writing, and appreciation for the power of words. Community members are invited to attend the finals to provide support and cheer on contestants. The City of Cambridge today announced that the Thomas P. O'Neill Jr./Fresh Pond Golf Course will open for the season on Thursday, May 21 and Riverbend Park will be opened for the next two Sundays as part of a pilot program.

Palmer Street is getting a makeover! In an effort to transform this Harvard Square alley into a more active and welcoming public space, the City is introducing colorful tables and chairs, playful magnetic poetry boards, a public piano, plantings, and an artistic canopy.

A Gmail (Google) account is required for the class. Please remember your Gmail and password, you will need them to sign in and practice during the class. Laptops will be provided for the class. Property owners/residents are responsible for removing all snow and ice from sidewalks and accessible ramps next to their property following a storm per City Ordinance. Ice needs to be removed within 6 hours from the time it forms, and snow needs to be removed within 12 hours after snow stops falling during the day and before 1 p.m. if it snowed during the night, per City Ordinance. The fine for failing to comply with the City’s sidewalk clearance ordinances is $50/day for each day of non-compliance. Here are some helpful tips to follow.

CIRC staff provides information, referrals, and guidance to residents seeking assistance. The Commission collaborates with other city departments, community partners, and individuals that support immigrant rights and citizenship.

The Cambridge Arts Council and Gallery 344 are located in the renovated City Hall Annex at 344 Broadway. We welcome everyone to visit our space and to view the large-scale wall paintings created by Mike Glier for the Annex. We also invite you to view current and future projects at Gallery 344 attend our public events. The objective of the programming at Gallery 344 is to explore and advance the role of art in public life. We involve local, regional, and national artists in exhibitions and educational programming that engage our audience throughout the City and beyond.
